Effect of pH.
Actually, the pH of the water can range from 0 to 14. Shrimp and farmed fish have better health and production efficiency when the pH value of water varies from 7.5 to 8.5, when the values This is consistent with their blood pH. Excess pH values will reduce feeding, reduce growth, adversely affect FCR and inhibit the immune response of shrimp and fish.
Alkalinity is a measure of the ability to keep the pH stable and is measured in units of mg / l CaCO 3 . Alkalinity of shrimp pond should be in the range of 100 - 150 mg / l. High alkalinity, pH less fluctuate. Low alkalinity, the pH changes sharply, disadvantage for shrimp. Alkalinity is very easy to change, so check the alkalinity every 3-5 days.
Effect of salinity.
High salinity will change some environmental parameters such as pH, alkalinity. In addition, the algae in the shrimp growing rapidly, producing more toxic gas ... In particular, the source of oxygen in the water will increase sharply during the day, but reduced at night. Effect of temperature.

Effect of sulfur hydrogen.
Hydrogen sulphide is very toxic to shrimp, fish, animals, including humans. H 2 S formed by the anaerobic digestion of waste feed, herbicide and animal waste, or from sulfate ions by reducing Suynphat bacteria. The black-bottomed mud and the rotten egg odor are due to the presence of H 2 S. The alkaline earth ponds are at risk for high levels of Hydrogen Suynphua.
